A place with a nice atmosphere, famous for its mariachi groups that play serenades to the passers-by

A must-see square in the historic center, renowned for its mariachi bands that serenade passers-by. The atmosphere is generally nicer in the evening, when the Mexicans get off work, and the different groups of musicians keep on playing their guitars. If you go there on Friday and Saturday nights, you will be surprised by the party atmosphere! The square is not dangerous, but be careful with alcohol (Plaza Garibaldi is the only place in Mexico City where it is allowed to drink in the street).

Visite de la Plaza Garibaldi à Mexico

Arrivés vers 19h00 sur la Place Garibaldi à Mexico, les célèbres groupes de mariachis étaient relativement peu nombreux en ce jour de mars et commençaient juste à se mettre en place. Il a fallu que notre groupe se cotise pour pouvoir profiter de leurs chants et rythmes entraînants pendant environ 10 minutes, le temps de faire quelques photos. Je reconnais avoir été un peu déçue, mais peut-être était-ce trop tôt dans la soirée !
