TEMPLO DE SAN FELIPE NERI LA PROFESA

This church is one of the city's most precious artistic treasures. This impressive Baroque temple, built in the early ^18th century, is home to numerous works of religious art, including an altarpiece by Manuel Tolsá and a painting by Juan Correa depicting the Virgin of Pópolo. Other works, including a large collection of paintings produced between the ^17th and ^19th centuries, are housed in the pinacoteca adjacent to the church.
