SANTUARIO DE LA VIRGEN DEL SOCAVÓN

Very beautiful church located in the heights of the city. Recognizable by its whitewash dress, this religious building was built in 1781, on the very spot where the ruins of an old chapel stood. In the heart of the church, you will find a magnificent representation of the Virgin made in the 14th century. This was restored in 1992. Right next to the building was an old mining gallery, now converted into a small museum.
