Built in 1530 in honour of the Virgin Mary, this church is particularly sober. It houses a Masonic lodge and an institution of the Catholic Church, a unique cohabitation in the world. Today it is the headquarters of the Academy of Dominican History. Outside, you will observe a hundred-year-old tree in the church square and a fountain. The complex is still standing and has survived human and weather attacks through the centuries.
