Fritzner Cedon, a Haitian artist who has lived in Santo Domingo for many years, opened this small space in the heart of the colonial zone to promote the paintings of his Haitian and Dominican friends. Here, the painting is of good quality and the works presented are diversified. In addition to the paintings, there are traditional Haitian sculptures in painted sheet metal. A small bar allows you to exchange your impressions of the works on display. A nice shop that art lovers of the world will appreciate.

This gallery, run by the widow of the painter who died in March 2011, exhibits his works, paintings and silkscreens. For those who do not have a budget for paintings, there are books about the artist, posters and reproductions at moderate prices. Born in Bonao in 1936, Cándido Bidó's favorite themes were the representation of the Dominican woman, the couple, maternity..., all in a colorful and formal style.
