A spiral staircase leads to the restaurant, which is located in an astonishing series of coastal caves shaped by the waves, 25 m below ground level. The food is classic (fried calamari, tacos, various salads...) and good, the decor and service sophisticated, but the musical atmosphere (orchestra and dance) a little impersonal. It is nevertheless one of the tourist musts. El Meson de la Cava also offers special menus and meals on Sundays, an interesting wine list and attentive service.
