A haven of peace between Salazia and Hell-Bourg. At dawn, an atmosphere of peace and quiet is carried by the singing of birds and a few water hens can be seen. At weekends, the laughter of the children reveals a more festive and family atmosphere. For camping or picnicking, you can reach this place in 15 minutes on foot. Several kiosks overlook the water. It is also a place steeped in history, where you can see the remains of the dwellings of the first land concessionaires. The place is exotic, shady and welcoming, and is a place of great beauty.

Cet étang, niché au creux d'un vallon sur la route de Hell Bourg est un havre de paix à visiter absolument. Les remparts qui l'entourent se reflète dans cette étendue d'eau calme. Le site fut par le passé un domaine florissant dont quelques vestiges subsistent en amont de l'étang (a vous de les trouver). C'est un endroit idéal pour un pique nique en famille suivi d'une petite partie de pêche...

un super endroit pr pique niquer avant d'arriver sur Hellbourg. qqes pêcheurs et poules d'eau sur le site.
Pretty square, very refreshing, nestled at the foot of a large mountain and surrounded by conifers, pets and daturas oranges. You will meet more fishermen water chickens, but the place is very pleasant for a picnic in the week. A beautiful stop on the road to hell-bourg.
