Unavoidable restaurant in Saint-Philippe offering a typical cuisine of the wild South and meats.

Opposite Cap Méchant, an unmissable restaurant serving local Creole cuisine, which has become absolutely mythical since it opened in the 1980s. Typical cuisine of the wild South: salads and gratins of palm trees, curries camarons, bichiques, lobster tails, pork curry with palm trees, etc.. A reputation which is not to be made any more, a kitchen of quality, a superb sight. And consequently, a lot of people! The restaurant has even become a brand name, with several openings on the island. So remember to book, especially at weekends.

Très bon restaurant, la salade de palmiste est effectivement délicieuse mais aussi les brochettes de crevettes, les mines sautées aux crevettes.... Plats copieux et service correcte. Attention l'adresse indiquée n'est pas la bonne, c'est le 15 rue de l'école, il faut tout simplement suivre la direction du cap méchant.

La salade de cœur de palmistes avec sa mayonnaise Maison est la MEILLEURE de la Réunion !
Le punch Maison est très agréable (très bon... mais pas trop alcoolisé)...
Le canard à la vanille est "divin" !
après... c'est si vous avez encore faim...
