For three days, the people of Reunion gather to pray and pay homage to Our Lady of La Salette.

If it is more a religious gathering than a festival, this event is no less popular among Reunion Islanders from all over the island who gather for three days to pray, climb the steps of the chapel and pay homage to Notre-Dame de la Salette who would have spared the Saint-Leusiens from plague and cholera epidemics in the 19th century. The three evenings are enlivened by concerts by the most popular local artists, the silence of the day is then replaced by boisterous dances, laughter and applause.
