Approximately 1-hour tasting workshop with over twenty fragrances.
Nout ti l'arranzé was born in the south of Reunion Island, in Petit Tampon in the commune of Le Tampon.
A perfect balance of tradition, expertise and innovation, Nout ti l'arranzé takes you on a gustatory journey, sometimes fruity, sometimes spicy, sometimes floral, to discover a range of rhums arrangés, the secrets of which only the GRONDIN family holds.
The story begins when Alyre, a 66-year-old retiree, decides to set up a family-run table d'hôtes. Supported by his wife and children, he threw himself into the adventure, despite the difficult times at Covid, and ended up opening his business in October 2022.
With a desire to introduce Reunionese traditions to tourists visiting his table, Alyre makes his own arranged rums and offers them for tasting. Very quickly, these exceptional-tasting elixirs aroused interest, with visitors eager to take the beverage home to continue enjoying it when they returned home... "it's a bit of Réunion that we're taking home", said most of them.
With such success, Alyre and his son decided to expand the range. The bottles, then known as "Chez Alyre et Sylvette", were sold to tourists passing through, and soon even the locals were interested.
Alyre began to produce more, and over the course of a year, he set about concocting quality arrangés to distinguish himself with signature products with unusual tastes.
Alyre tells us: "At each tasting, my guests noted each arrangé. I then classified them according to age and gender. I drew up a table and at the end of the year, I was able to compile statistics, which highlighted twenty-five of my rums
In December 2023, Alyre and his son decided to formalize the creation of their products and set up an SAS. Chez Alyre et Sylvette" arranged rum became "Nout Ti L'arranzé", a registered trademark, and a new adventure began.
Two months later, they were awarded the "Artisan Réunion" label. What a consecration for these enthusiasts!
Present at the Salon de l'Agriculture in Paris five months later, they were awarded two prizes: a bronze medal for "Nout Ti L'arranzé" Combava and a silver medal for Tangor grillé, gingembre et curcuma.
"These awards boost our passion for showcasing our artisanal know-how
Alyre and his son produce both aperitifs and digestifs. Each arrangé emanates subtle, bewitching, transcendent fragrances. Each sip transports you to a different world.
