White sand, coconut palms, crystal-clear water that's just as warm as you like... You won't be alone on this little piece of postcard heaven!
With its turquoise waters, coconut palms and white sand, Les Salines beach is one of the most beautiful in Martinique. Located 5 km south of the town, it stretches for 1 km. It is divided into three sections: Grande Anse des Salines, the largest and best-known part, Petite Anse des Salines to the west and Grande Terre des Salines to the east.
The wooded area is part of the Forêt domaniale du Littoral and is managed by the Office National des Forêts. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful views of Martinique.

Probably the most frequented beach island, not its size, its white sand and its preservation (reinforced this last decade).
With nearby, the savannah of the petrifications, the hottest part of the island, totally devoid today petrified wood that are worth its name to it. Some are saline, remains of farms of the 17th century.
A super tip: village of Sainte-Anne to the Salines, has halfway on the right, a shop selling local crafts to flan and slope, run by a couple domino militants naturalists. Pure natural creation, from objects collected in the natural surroundings. Take the time to chat and admire the landscape. In case of absence from, to insist, guests are not far.
