Restaurant with terrace in Saint-Pierre offering seafood and traditional dishes.
The legendary Fromager cheese tree, several centuries old, survived the eruption of Mount Pelee in 1902 and the cyclones and hurricanes that have hit Martinique. From this leafy tree, René, the owner, was inspired to name his restaurant. The terrace overlooks the harbor of Saint-Pierre and the Caribbean Sea. The cuisine features freshly caught seafood and traditional dishes. On Sunday lunchtimes, dancing, fun and enjoyment in a 100% Creole atmosphere are what make this place special.

Tout y est ! La vue panoramique, la gentillesse de la serveuse, la qualité des ingrédients, la justesse de la cuisson et donc, la saveur des plats. Une des meilleures tables de Martinique. C'est évidemment une cuisine antillaise avec probablement les meilleurs acras que j'ai mangé. Un gratin de lambi à tomber. Un plat de chatrou excellent. Un poulet sauce Tamarin sublîme. Des bananes flambées exquises. Une salade de fruits exotiques superbe. Et l'addition ? Pour mon épouse et moi : 45,50 €, Ti punchs, cafés et une bouteille d'eau gazeuse compris. En plus, le patron vient vous demander si ça c'est bien passé et offre en même temps un petit verre de vieux rhum. Mieux c'est difficile.

Warm welcome, discreet, very friendly service but no less efficient by a young woman with a sincere smile. Excellent cuisine. Attractively presented dishes which adds to the pleasure excluding exceptional setting and the bill is not any more correct. In short COME THERE QUICKLY, that delight!
Probably the restaurant not to be missed if you come to Martinique and for which you must take a detour. Nothing criticising. Charming welcome, neither too or not slow enough, etc. As for the view, unrestricted on the bay of Saint Pierre! I do not talk about the meal: stuffed crabs are a delight and colombo, there is no words to define, they are too. Without any doubt best restaurants than I made on the island. Do not changed anything.
