This two kilometer walk  through the tropical forest takes you to the top of Morne Césaire, inland. The path goes through  a dense forest, where vegetation changes as you get higher in altitude. The walk is short but steep (490 metres of altitude), there from the estimated time in 2 hours. In the rainy season, the path can also be very slippery, but with fine weather, it offers a breathtaking view of Fort-de-France.
