This 5 kilometer walk belonged to an 10 hour hike linking Macabou to Caritan on over 33 km. Along the coastline, this trail offers beautiful views of the successive beaches on the Atlantic coast. On this section, you will walk along the small and large bays of Macabou before joining the anse Grosse Roche and Cap Macré. In addition to the beautiful beaches, the path has many animal species (crabs, sea shells) and vegetables (almond trees, pear trees, coconut trees, etc.) typical of the seafront of Martinique. The road crosses especially the Domaine du Grand Macabou whose botanical trail will present to you most of these trees and plants.
