PRIPRI DE YIYI

In 1996, the Conservatoire du Littoral acquired the marsh to ensure its protection and enhancement. A 2.5 km trail leads through the different environments (wet meadows, sand forest, flooded savannah), and observatories enable visitors to learn more about the local avifauna. At the entrance to the marsh is the Maison de la Nature, which used to host temporary exhibitions, nature books, an aquarium (with marsh fish) and a vivarium. Currently closed, let's hope it reopens soon!
