CARBET MUNICIPAL

A beautiful municipal carbet right in the center of Apatou town, just across the Maroni, and a stone's throw from the main degrad where the pirogues come and go. The communal carbet has a capacity of 15 hammocks, with toilets and showers available. The site is secure and keys can be obtained from the tourist office (right next to the carbet). As the municipality's internet connection is not always reliable, it is advisable to book by telephone.
