The establishment is a restaurant as well as a bar located on the beach of Saint-Louis. It's an institution on Marie-Galante. Henri, the owner with his lilting accent from the South of France, organizes musical evenings and concerts (mainly jazz, rock and fusion bands) to liven up this part of the beach. The venue is also an artistic space, hosting exhibitions of painting, sculpture and photography... Once you're there, try the famous iced punch at 59°C... in moderation!

Chez Henri is both a restaurant and an art space located on the beach of Saint-Louis. In a simple and elegant setting, it offers creative cuisine and exquisite menus. Treat yourself to its dishes accompanied by the famous Caribbean sauce or its Creole omelette with "racine" and more. To end your dinner in style, opt for its cold banana dessert. Also, since 1988, it has been hosting musical and craft meetings. The house puts you in the mood with musical concerts hosted by artists like Veronique Sambini, Al Sanders trio, Betty Jane ... You will also discover artistic workshops, exhibitions (paintings, sculptures, crafts, photos). A beautiful address for an authentic culinary experience.

Pas à l'écoute du client car nous avions pas fini l'apéro en boisson qu'ils servaient déjà le plat.
Le service avait été trop long limite nous étions oubliés pour une commande de 2 verres de vin heureusement que la serveuse est arrivée entre temps pour nous les servire.
Voilà.
On y mange très bien, les plats sont copieux, les cocktails excellents !
Nous avons pris 2 punch (passion et gingembre), planteur, des rillettes de poisson, le thon et le porc local, tout était très bon ! Rhum glacé offert au moment de payer l’addition.
La serveuse était vraiment super sympa et Henri est venu nous voir pendant le repas pour voir si tout allait bien.
En plus vue superbe sur le coucher du soleil. On s’y sent bien !!
