Here's a healthier alternative to bokit, with no frying and no fat. Banton is the brainchild of chef Charles Valétudie. It's a pizza dough topped with spices like turmeric, baked in the oven and garnished with ground beef, chicken, bacon, tuna or ham and cheese. The name of this sandwich is a nod to the olden days, when bread was called " banton ". Savory crepes made with manioc flour are also on the menu. Charles and his wife Sabrina warmly welcome you to their sheltered, green terrace.
