MUSÉE DE LA VIE D'ANTAN

At first glance, this museum doesn't look like much, but the guided tours are rich in insights into Guadeloupean society. This themed museum is run by the "Patrimoine et Savoirs" association, created in 1998 at the instigation of historian Raymond Boutin. No permanent exhibition, but biennial exhibitions. In the^1st half of 2024, the "Art of Recycling" exhibition, which still leaves its mark on Guadeloupean families today, comes to an end. In early September, it will give way to "Revenir sur la lumière", which will focus on resilience.
