INDIGOTERIES - ROUTE DE L'ESCLAVE

This site was selected, along with 17 other emblematic heritage sites, to integrate the circuit "The Slave Route - Traces of memory in Guadeloupe" because of its link with the history of slavery. An itinerary that has been developed for a better understanding of this painful historical context in the archipelago. Many remains of these indigoteries, more or less in good condition, can be seen. Some are located on private land.
