The Col du Petit Mont-Cenis, also known by its Italian name Colle del Piccolo Moncenisio, is perched at an altitude of 2,183 meters in the Mont-Cenis massif, overlooking both the Maurienne valley and the Val de Suse. It lies between Pointe Droset, at 2,917 meters, and Pointe de Bellecombe, at 2,755 meters. The pass forms a link between Bramans in France, to the northwest, and Moncenisio and Susa in Italy, to the southeast. Access is via a narrow road off the D1006 at the Col du Mont-Cenis.
