RANDOPARC LE PONT DES DAMES

The Parc naturel régional du massif des Bauges has published itinerary sheets entitled RandoParc. One of these hikes, " Le Pont des Dames ", starts from Saint-Jean-de-la-Porte. It is a family loop of 6.8 km on a marked path, for about 3 hours of stroll with a difference in altitude of 500 meters. The walk offers beautiful views of the Combe de Savoie and the Dent d'Arclusaz. The path connects the hamlets of Combefolle and Montlambert to the capital of Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny, and in the past this path allowed women to go to the market, hence the name of this route.
