After two years of renovation work, the refuge has reopened to the delight of hikers who appreciate the wild parentheses. In this valley, located between Val Thorens and Les Menuires, lies Lac du Lou, and a few steps away from its refuge, at 2,035 m. It has a large dining room and is guarded in summer and winter by Alexandrine Dessalles, who offers a vegetarian half-board, organic and/or local products à la carte. With a rational management of resources, an ecological approach to recycling, organic cotton duvets and pillows, dry toilets and labelled cleaning products, we can say that the place encourages respect for nature.
