An underground laboratory for the research of neutrinos, offering an impressive and very instructive visit.

The laboratory is one of the deepest in the world, installed some 1,700 meters beneath the mountain, in a former Fréjus railway tunnel. This depth provides a particularly isolated environment from cosmic interference, ideal for experiments requiring very low background conditions, such as the study of elementary particles and the search for dark matter. An impressive and highly instructive visit.
