FRTARIVOTE WALK
On a path marked out from Fréterive, this Frétarivote walk does not present any difficulty. It allows you to cover 3.5 kilometres on a loop route located on the low slopes of the Arclusaz massif, overlooking the confluence of the Isère and Arc plains. A slight drop of 80 metres and a peaceful stroll along the " Collection RandoParc " of the regional natural park of the Bauges massif. Remember that Fréterive is at the foot of the Arclusaz tooth, which culminates at 2 041 metres above sea level. The commune is composed of several hamlets: Les Moulins, la Fiardière, le Chef-lieu, le Villard and la Maserie. Its church is placed under the patronage of Saint Christopher and concerning its heritage, we can mention the Fortified House of the Mills which dates from the 16th century for the oldest part.
