Refuge with free parking at 1 560 m altitude in Champagny-en-Vanoise.

The refuge, perched at 2,010 metres, has been renovated. It can be accessed from the free car park at Le Laisonnay d'en Bas in Champagny-le-Haut. It is located at an altitude of 1,560 m. Then, on foot, it takes 1 hour and 45 minutes to walk the 450 m of elevation gain on a trail where motorized vehicles are prohibited. When it is the season, the marmots whistle in the surroundings and it is not impossible that one or two chamois may discreetly observe you. They are generally shy, so it is better to remain discreet to hope to see them. Local and organically produced products are privileged in order to offer a simple but quality cuisine.
