Museum located in Chambéry, with exhibition space and one of the largest collections of paintings in France.

Located in the heart of Chambéry, the Musée des Beaux-Arts catches the eye with its light-colored facade on the other side of the Palais de Justice. Housed in the former grain market, it boasts a remarkable permanent exhibition, with an important collection of Italian paintings from the Trecento to the Baroque, as well as striking portraits. French and Savoyard works also complete the collection. Admission is free every month from 6pm to 9pm, giving everyone the chance to enjoy this unique cultural experience.

Depuis sa rénovation le musée est plus agréable et lumineux. Il se trouve en face du palais de justice. C'est un lieu d'art et de culture incontournable à chambery et dont le prix très abordable nous encourage à venir. Des expositions temporaires sont proposées.m également. Lieu à visiter lors de la découverte de Chambery !

Situé au coeur de la ville, face au Palais de Justice, le musée entièrement rénové a réouvert en 2015, Plus lumineux, plus aéré, les oeuvres sont ainsi bien mises en valeur. De plus, des expo. temporaires y sont régulièrement proposées. Visite à ne pas manquer quand on est à Chambéry.
