Social housing Chambéry

The Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture has a social residence and a Foyer de Jeunes Travailleurs. 76 apartments in the Résidence Escoffier and 5 apartments in the Laurier district provide access to housing. Students, young workers, mobility or professional integration, single-parent families, disabled people... occupy furnished apartments at modest rents (from 260 to 520 euros). The MJC guides tenants in budgeting, health monitoring, social and professional integration, etc. 68 additional places have been added, and a low-energy building has been built in place of the current Providence home.
