The "voie verte", a lovely, tree-covered walk along the Isère river in Bourg-Saint-Maurice.

Cycle tourism is strongly encouraged and highly appreciated in this region, which is also famous for being a playground for the Tour de France. Three internationally renowned mountain passes attract many intrepid cyclists: the Iseran, Petit-Saint-Bernard and Cormet de Roselend. You can choose to cycle these routes, notably via the Voie verte Avenue de la Tarentaise, which links Bourg-Saint-Maurice to Aime. This pleasant 14-kilometer ride runs alongside the River Isère, offering shade from the trees.
