TRAVERSÉE DE L'EPINE

This circuit is made for the most sporty, because it will involve crossing the Epine chain twice: once by the Col du Chat, with a magnificent descent to Bourget-du-Lac, and a second time by the Col de l'Epine with a more sustained ascent. There is a lighter variant that avoids the double crossing, by taking the service gallery of the Chat tunnel, which has been open to cyclists since November 2017. Can be used outside the snowy season and depending on weather conditions. Please contact the tourist office in advance to find out about the current conditions.
