On volcanic peak, in the Middle Ages, a fortified monastery was raised, founded in the th century by Saint Porcaire. The site looks great and offers a remarkable panorama. The church features a curious tower-shaped bell tower. It houses the mausoleum of the saint. The Prieural hotel is suitable for families and groups, and offers a splendid wooded gallery and a Gothic fireplace. A cottage, with a dormitory and a 6-bed bedroom, was built in the priory buildings.
