Restaurant in an ideal setting to enjoy a medieval inspired cuisine in Chalmazel.
Built by Arnaud de Marcilly in 1231 for Guy IV, Count of Forez, this fortress has survived the centuries intact. The Marquis de Talaru added Renaissance-inspired ornamentation to the façade and inner courtyard. Isabelle Suguenot welcomes you to this historic residence for your stay in the Monts du Forez, in one of her 4 guest rooms. An ideal setting for those who love old stones! Table d'hôtes is available on reservation. Enjoy medieval-inspired cuisine using local, seasonal and even garden produce. Excellent for those who appreciate the medieval period in both setting, glass and plate.
