The Rendez-vous des pêcheurs is a small restaurant that we like. It’s a kind of place that wherever it is located, it will obviously become well-known for its good reputation. Situated in a bend at the edge of Rancid, the outside is not so attractive, but the food is good and not very expensive. The speciality of the restaurant is the trout with bacon. The owner has a fishpond on the site. All other products are local and seasonal. Here there is only the menu which changes every day. Pascal, Laurence and Mathieu will be delighted to welcome you within their family. If you like authentic places where you will spend a nice time, come here and enjoy!

De passage dans le Cantal avec nos enfants,nous avons fait une halte improvisée dans cette établissement.Il nous a été servi une cuisine riche et généreuse ,notamment le stockfisch et la truite au lard.une merveille...Nous avons été accueilli comme à la maison.Je vous recommande cette adresse si vous voulez vivre une expérience humaine.

Without wanting to remove the merit of the former owners, but to meet the previous calumnies, evoked with an anonymous courage reminiscent of some letters of the same type (but you must live in its time), I will announce to the tourist passing and native appetite you can taste, among others, in this restaurant, with excellent dishes prepared by the owner (stockfish, poultry, calf's head, dandelion...), as well as generous plates of meat or on request, seafood!
Good humour is all here, especially during the many theme dinners are organised by the Colombel family.
