Le Damier is an essential brasserie in Aurillac. The look is modern and cosy and the cuisine is meticulous. In the generous and authentic plates, the products are put at their right value. We recommend the snails as a starter or the delicious tartars for the amateurs. Cantalian recipes are also on the menu, such as truffade or Salers meat. Don't leave without a dessert! The café gourmand, in particular, has made the reputation of this beautiful establishment. Very nice sweet notes...

Brasserie archi bondée pour le déjeuner, c'est bon signe. Plus de place au soleil en terrasse, je m'installe au comptoir et participe ainsi à toute l'animation. Merveilleuse surprise avec le tartare de bœuf (race salers oblige), pour les amateurs de viande rouge nous sommes dans le haut de gamme. Je finis par une crêpe au beurre salé, autre spécialité de l'établissement, que du bonheur!!
