It is the original work of a passionate, Vallonnais Pierre Cognet, who is anxious to convey to future generations the lifestyles and know-how of yesteryear, patiently and faithfully reproduces 12 animated models on scale 1/8 th. They present the crafts and scenes of yesteryear (sabotier, lavandières on the Cher, charrons, tonneliers, marshal-farrier, farm vigil, baker of the baker, musicians bourbonnais, limonaire, coffee 1900, printing, hewers long in Tronçais forest). An appendix presents the reconstitution of a blacksmith workshop (hardware, tools size). The meticulous and quality work has earned the creator of the models the first prize «Nature and Tradition» of the Ford France International Foundation in 1987.
