Ghoul Pond hides a particular flora and fauna. Eight species of orchids were listed among which the orchis, burned, purple and man-hanged, and abeille, bourdon and spider ophrys. Cardoncelle, fields chief, pimprenelle or hélianthème are remarkable plants. Ornithological observation is possible year round. In spring, the butternut heron, the @ @, and castagneux, the coot, the reed sparrow, the effarvatte effarvatte breed, and many species come to feed there. In winter, surface and plongeur, cormorants, large crested, stay longer or less long depending on weather conditions.
