DOMAINE DU CHATEAU VIEUX
It is the only winemaker in this sector of the Drôme des collines. The Rousset family has been working this estate since 1872! Five generations until Fabrice, the current wine grower who welcomes you with kindness and explains that the Château Vieux is the name of the district, besides you realize that there is no castle on the spot... But no need for a castle, the cellar conceals treasures! Here you can find AOC Saint-Joseph and local wines from the Drôme and, in smaller quantities, from the Ardèche. They will advise you on wines to age in your cellar or, if you wish to invest, some precious bottles of old Saint-Joseph vintages. The house is also known for its excellent quality-price ratio in local wines. A sure value since the people of the Drôme like to buy them.
