A delightful semi-gastronomic restaurant that sublimates local produce and is committed to locavore cuisine. A real favorite.
Since opening in late 2023, Mandibule in the heart of old Alixan offers a friendly, semi-gastronomic dining experience. The decor is warm and inviting, combining wood and close-up paintings of African animals to great effect. Maxime Szczepaniak, the young chef who studied at Thierry Marx's school, sublimates the products of his region (less than 20 km away). With his commitment to locavore cooking and recycled waste, he's not to be underestimated! His favorite dish that day was a wild boar terrine with hazelnuts, topped with an astonishing new olive oil matured in oak barrels.
