The Vaucluse is the2nd largest producing department. Melon production is important in the Comtat Venaissin thanks to the abundance of water supplied by the Carpentras canal. The traders' association has been taking advantage of this for almost 20 years now to organise the melon festival. From 4 pm the local producers will make you discover the melon in the form of a tasting. At 8pm an aperitif is offered to all, followed by an induction and a meal (on reservation).
