The reputation of the wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape was already well established in the 19th century. The Maison des Vins Vinadea de Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a beautiful showcase of the appellation to help you discover them in all their diversity. Their cellar is a festival: more than 200 references from 100 estates and châteaux, including Château de Fortia, Château la Nerthe, Clos de l'Oratoire des Papes, Cuvée des Sommeliers, Domaine de la Solitude... So many names that make the appellation one of the jewels of the Rhône Valley wines.

La Nerthe is a superb 90-hectare estate in a single block, particularly renowned for its white wine. The estate, where the appellation's 13 grape varieties are planted, has been certified organic since 1998. You can visit the historic cellars by appointment, where interesting vintages such as the red Cuvée des Cadettes and the white Clos de Beauvenir are kept. Aging lasts a minimum of 5 years. As the years go by, the wine takes on a light oak color, with golden highlights. The tasting cellar is superb, contemporary in design.

La Cave de Mathias is a place where wine and art meet. It offers an immersive experience in the wine village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. For one or two hours, you'll discover a contemporary art gallery and superb blown-glass creations, before letting Mathias guide you through a professional tasting of the appellation's finest wines. In the 15th-century vaulted cellar, you'll appreciate the subtleties of these nectars, while soaking up the rich history of this exceptional terroir. It's a sensory experience to be enjoyed with family and friends.

This is a somewhat confidential address down the street, despite the reputation of the Perrin family and despite being located opposite the tourist office. You will find all the wines made by the Perrin family, Beaucastel, La Vieille Ferme, Clos des Tourelles, Miraval, in all about fifty references that you can taste before buying.
