Castle full of history with rooms with a panoramic terrace, a restaurant with dishes made with good products

Built on the crest of a rocky outcrop, this 11th century castle steeped in history (looted and demolished, it was restored in the 1960s) was transformed into a hotel-restaurant by Mr and^Mrs Hartman, then by the Thomas family, whose son, Guillaume, is still in charge. The rooms, all different, with four-poster beds and antique furniture, are designed in a medieval decor and open onto a large panoramic terrace overlooking the village. The on-site restaurant offers dishes based on good products with a creative style.

Un endroit tellement magique ! Perché au-dessus du village, le Château de Trigance offre des chambres confortables, un environnement serein, un accueil chaleureux et de superbes petits déjeuners et dîners servis sur la terrasse. La route pour arriver ici me rappelle Yosemite, avec des falaises calcaires abruptes tombant dans la rivière Verdon dans la vallée en contrebas.

On ne peut visiter sans consommer au château. Devenu un lieu de restauration et hébergement uniquement. Dommage mais cela fait vivre le village.

L'un de mes endroits préférés où j'ai séjourné. Séjourner dans un château était un rêve devenu réalité. Cet endroit est un joyau caché. Nous avons adoré et prévoyons d'y retourner.
