Merovingian chapel built to the glory of Clovis with the victory against the Visigoths, beautiful view on the surroundings

This beautiful Merovingian edifice was built to celebrate Clovis' victory over the Visigoths. From the second highest peak in the Maures, at 768 metres above sea level, there is a superb view of the surrounding countryside. You can see the Maures massif, the Pre-Alps, the sea, the Golden Isles, the Giens peninsula, Toulon and its harbor, the Sainte-Baume, and even Corsica if the air is perfectly pure. A true haven of peace!
