Bistro overlooking Le Lavandou marina with a signature menu dedicated to local produce and excellent value for money

P&G as in Planches & Gamelles. A bistro facing the marina, away from the hustle and bustle. The kitchen is run by chef Philippe Lespagnol (formerly of Troisgros in Roanne and Le Grand Véfour in Paris) and his second Thomas Neri. The value for money is always excellent, both at lunchtime and in the evening. On the wine side, there's a vinothèque atmosphere, with over 150 references available all year round, by the bottle, glass or takeaway. A lovely terrace, refined home cooking and local produce - we love it again and again!

Une belle découverte, cadre et ambiance très sympa. Une cuisine raffinée, un excellent service, un choix de vin remarquable !
Un adresse incontournable au Lavandou.

The signuture dish robster wasn't good for French standard. Cooked way too much.

Thank you for kind reply.
I recommend you to go to 1 star restaurant in town, to see how to cook lobster. Not to ruin expensive lobster.
I hope your restaurant will be better.

The lobster (the purported “speciality” of this restaurant) was stringy, tough, and overcooked. It was served drowning in a strong sauce with overcooked sliced vegetables.
We also ordered several glasses of champagne. Through a translation error, the server brought the glass of champagne with ice. We told them this was wrong and we wanted a normal glass of champagne. They brought back the same wine that was clearly just with the ice strained out - it was weak in flavor and the color indicated it was diluted. There was also no contrition on the part of the lazy server.
Tourist trap, please avoid.
