One of the most interesting and largest megalithic monuments in the southern Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Listed as a Historic Monument since February 22nd 1988, it was discovered in 1876. The dolmen of Gaoutabry is a collective tomb which contained human bones accompanied by pottery, flint tools or beads). The site culminates at an altitude of 198 metres, dominating the bay of La Londe-les-Maures as far as the Giens peninsula. The dolmen measures 6.5 m long by 1.5 m. Bring water and good walking shoes
