This château was abandoned during the French Revolution and fell into ruin.

The first mention of this castle dates from the th century. The present great bastion (late th-century th century) housed the village. Large families succeeded, such as the counts of Provence, the Cossa or Castellane family. He was abandoned during the Revolution and fell into ruins. The medieval tower and two towers of the th century remain. Classified in Historical monuments, he has been the subject of restoration work for many years.

Agréable promenade
Une agréable promenade dans Grimaud que cette montée au travers des ruines du château. De belles plantes méditerranéenne fleurissent le chemin. Une belle vue sur les alentours.
