Museum retracing the history of the naval troops and offering a wide range of cultural activities

Opened in October 1981, the museum preserves the memory and traces the history of the Troupes de Marine, units created in the ^17th century by Richelieu and integrated into the French Army in 1900, through collections that reveal two intertwined histories: that of the Troupes de Marine and that of overseas France. The museum is also a venue for a wide range of cultural activities. After renovation, it will offer an additional 400^m2 dedicated to temporary exhibitions.

Open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Free of charge. Guided tour (by appointment). A store, proposes various articles and souvenirs even during the works. Parking .
