A sanctuary on Mont Verdaille, southwest of Cotignac, built in 1519 to commemorate the apparition of the Virgin Mary

To the south-west of Cotignac, on Mont Verdaille, this chapel, built in 1519 century to commemorate the apparition of the Virgin Mary and which was later the seat of the oratory, contains a marble ex-voto in memory of the thanksgiving trip of Anne of Austria and Louis XIV. It is also the scene of important pilgrimages, including the one on 8 September, which commemorates the nativity of the Virgin Mary. A shop is at your disposal.
