It is certainly not the biggest train station in France, nor the most central (a bit far from the city center) but it is the one that will allow you to reach many exceptional sites in the Hautes-Alpes. If many connections are made by bus TER, the station of Gap also serves that of Briançon, convenient to reach the domain of Serre-Chevalier Valley. A TER train connects with the Marseille Saint-Charles station for access from the south. Regional buses are waiting right in front of the station to take you to other destinations in the Hautes-Alpes.
