The festival of the green olives animates the center of Mouriès since more than forty years. The local producers propose a tasting of the salonenque, PDO since 1997 in the Valley of Baux-de-Provence. The highlight of the first day of this festival is the world olive breaking competition. It demonstrates the ancestral gesture of splitting the pulp of the fruit with a glass. Sunday opens with the mass of the Green Olives. A Camargue race closes this festive weekend.
