2-star campsite with tents and motorhomes near the sea and close to the calanques.

A modest two-star campsite but the only one in the commune. It offers basic services, but has the advantage of being located a few minutes walk from the sea and of being very affordable, in a very popular area, close to the creeks. Here there are no mobile homes, swimming pool or animations, but many tents, camping-cars and caravans placed in the shade of the pine forest. A simple and charming setting, with hot water in the sanitary facilities, a playground for children, a grocery store for your shopping and a snack bar for the little ones.

Easy check in; super nice and friendly crew; everything absolutely clean and tidy; warm water and shower for free; noise from street and neighbors somehow acceptable; Gare SNCF for train to Marseille every 30 min is 30-40 min flat walk away (no dog allowed on public busses)

Il y a juste le minimum. Certaines portes de sanitaires sont cassées, il n'y a pas de table de pique-nique. Le personnel était sympathique. Ok pour une ou deux nuits occasionnelles, plus aurait été difficile.

We stayed two nights.
We got a warm welcome. It was very busy but they wanted to do everything to make us happy. We wanted a private place so we got a pitch at a zone without too many people. They warned us about the busy road in that zone, so we were prepared and can't complain about that. I think this would be solved if they would place some tress and bushes along the side of the road.

Pretty open places so not really a private place, but okay, we know we were getting into since this is a region you can't really do bivouacking so something we had to go through.
Nice showers and toilets and they really try their best to keep it clean throughout the day.
Had to give my ID, but gave something else with my name on it as you need your id and drivers license on you. Also 20 euros deposit for a badge to enter the camping is a bit much but I can understand where this comes from.
The neighbours were annoying as the pitches are not really private but as said before, we knew what were getting into and had to tolerate it.

bien situé à l'entrée de cassis, les emplacements sont ombragés, une ligne de bus devant l'entrée, des commerces pas loin et des prix raisonnables
